Amber Law Global
From lone Holistic Lawyer to finding my global tribe of like-minded professionals in the legal field, started in 2014 when I was invited as Guest Speaker at the Holistic Justice Conference (Holland). In 2019 I participated in Therapeutic Jurisprudence (“TJ”) UK Chapter’s first meeting at the Open University Milton Keynes. Here, I met two of UKTJ’s pioneers namely Dr Emma Jones and Dr Anna Kawalek. Both are University Law Lecturers and authors, publishing “Emotions in the Law School: Transforming Legal Education Through the Passions” and “Problem-Solving Courts, Criminal Justice and the International Gold Standard”, respectively.

Meeting South African Integrative Lawyer and Legal Changemaker, Rhiannon Thomas, led to a personal friendship with the mother of the Integrative Law Movement, attorney and author J. Kim Wright (USA). For that I am truly grateful.
Being an online and in person Guest Speaker at numerous Universities and Conferences in UK, Europe and the USA, has expanded my Global Network exponentially! I’ve also featured on Podcasts such Molly Rowan-Leach’s ‘Restorative Justice on the Rise’.
Coaching with Global Life Coach Judymay Murphy (The Ritz, London), joining in with Mirela Sula’s Global Woman (London), training in Non-Violent Communication (NVC) London, learning about Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras with Spiritual Teacher Sri Nalanie Chellaram (from 1998 to date Gibraltar/ Spain/ Portugal), at Bernardo Moya’s The Best You (London), at Workshops with Psychotherapists Dr Menis Yousry (UK/ Spain) and Manuel Mora (Spain) on Systemic Family Constellations, the European Forum for Restorative Justice (EFRJ Estonia) Conference, meeting Global Trauma Expert Dr Gabor Maté (Bulgaria) and attending other learning platforms, have widened my lens even further and enriched my skill set, and deepened my understanding of human behaviour way beyond what is taught in Law Schools.
In 2023, I was invited to join the International Bar Association’s (IBA) Wellbeing in Legal Education Board and to collaborate with the drafting of, the IBA Professional Wellbeing Commission’s “International Guidelines for Wellbeing in Legal Education”. This, a Pilot scheme for Law Schools/ Universities world-wide to implement Wellbeing tools in their Law Modules for Undergraduate and Post Graduate study.
