Amber is a brilliant person. I could say she saved my mum. The court process was long and drawn out. It was a very challenging and distressing time for us. Amber supported my mum not only mentally and emotionally but she also found a way to access financial support for us. I was only age 16 and my brother age 12 at the time, schoolchildren. It was a pleasure to meet Amber and I will be eternally grateful to her.

In 2013 my marriage broke down and I had to petition for a divorce and maintenance. Before meeting Amber I had a lawyer who delayed progressing the case for nine months. During that time I felt increasingly upset, frustrated and powerless. A friend gave me a piece of paper with the name 'Amber Turner' on it. Her office was near my home so I decided to talk to her for a second opinion about my case. I was so desperate that I dropped by her office without an appointment. Amber said she had a very busy day but she must have noticed how distressed I was that she dropped what she was doing and said she would give me a 30 minutes free consultation.

The court process was slow and drawn out with many adjournments. Throughout those years, Amber was not only my lawyer, but she was my friend who supported me in everything she could- and we remain friends today. I speak highly of her to everyone because of her kind and compassionate way - she’s guided me psychologically and gave me the opportunity to rebuild my life with my children. I am not able to describe her in one word as she is very special.
